$4,000/ week contract pilot

Company Description New Angles Aerial Photography is a professional aerial imaging provider specializing in drone delivery research and development using advanced UAV platforms. The company serves clients across the country. The organization values safety, professionalism, and clear communication.

Role Description This is a travel based contract role for a Medium Lift sUAV such as the Matrice 300. The sUAV Pilot will operate medium lift aircraft for repeated residential flights. Day-to-day responsibilities include pre-flight planning, airspace and weather checks, site assessments, and coordination with clients and team members as well as clients. The pilot will perform safe flight operations, monitor aircraft performance, and adhere to all applicable regulations and internal safety procedures. Additional tasks include managing batteries and equipment, maintaining flight logs and mission records, performing basic UAV maintenance and troubleshooting, and assisting with data transfer each day.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in operating DJI Matrice 300 or similar enterprise-level sUAV platforms, including mission planning and flight execution.
• Strong understanding of FAA Part 107 regulations and best practices for safe, compliant sUAV operations; active Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.
• Experience conducting on-site surveys, evaluating airspace and weather conditions, and implementing standard operating procedures for field safety.
• Competence in managing UAV hardware, batteries, firmware updates, and basic troubleshooting or field-level maintenance.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with clients in dynamic on-site environments.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate flight logs, equipment checklists, and mission documentation.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions and navigating different types of terrain while following safety protocols.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel out of state for the majority of the work.
• Prior experience in aerial photography, inspections, surveying, or related fields is preferred.
• Prior experience in close proximity to obstacle flying or night operations is a plus.
• Technical training or certifications in UAV operations, GIS, or photography are also a plus.

Compensation

• $4,000/ week - 6 month contract - full time travel required. Pay based on standard performance. Overtime work available.
• Two weeks on / Two weeks off work schedule.
• Mon-Fri 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Saturdays and Mornings available for overtime.
• This job is designed for someone interested in travel and working hard.
• All work is scheduled and provided, the pilot is only responsible for arriving on site and performing flights.
• All travel expenses are covered or reimbursed.
• A company vehicle and equipment are provided.
