This position is responsible for preparing model inputs, executing and monitoring Prophet production runs, and producing accurate and timely quarterly actuarial results across multiple reporting bases and metrics, including U.S. GAAP and Bermuda Economic Balance Sheet (EBS). The role includes validating data and model outputs, analyzing movements and variances, maintaining controls and documentation, and supporting the delivery of results to Finance, Accounting, Risk and management. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented actuarial analyst with hands‑on modeling or valuation experience, strong analytical skills and the ability to manage recurring production activities within defined reporting timelines. Experience with Prophet is preferred, and familiarity with U.S. GAAP, Bermuda EBS and related solvency reporting is an advantage. The candidate should be comfortable investigating results, documenting conclusions and working collaboratively to resolve data, model and process issues. Responsibilities Prepare, validate and load quarterly Prophet model inputs, including seriatim liability data, asset data, actuarial assumptions, economic scenarios and mapping tables. Execute and monitor scheduled Prophet production runs for U.S. GAAP, Bermuda EBS, U.S. statutory, tax and other required reporting bases, escalating run issues and completing reruns where necessary. Produce quarterly actuarial results and supporting metrics, including reserves, best estimate liabilities, capital and solvency measures, earnings components, cash flows and key management reporting metrics. Perform quarter-over-quarter rollforwards, actual-to-expected analysis and attribution of material movements; prepare clear commentary for reviewers and business partners. Complete data, model and output controls, including reconciliations, reasonableness checks, regression testing, static and dynamic validation, implied‑rate analysis and control evidence. Prepare standardized reporting packages, model extracts, journal‑entry support and disclosure information for Finance, Accounting, Risk and management within the quarter‑end timetable. Maintain run records, process documentation, model change logs and version controls in accordance with the actuarial control framework and audit requirements. Support stress, sensitivity, liquidity, BSCR and other analytical runs, as well as projection runs used for planning and capital analysis. Assist with annual assumption updates by executing test runs, analyzing impacts and documenting the implementation and results. Support model changes, production fixes and new‑business onboarding through testing, validation and controlled implementation. Identify opportunities to automate recurring data preparation, model execution, controls and reporting activities, working with technology and external partners as needed. Respond to internal and external audit requests and provide supporting documentation for assigned processes and results. Occasional help with other ad-hoc tests such as pricing support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance or another quantitative discipline. Progress toward the Associate of the Society of Actuaries designation, or an equivalent actuarial qualification. Approximately 5–8 years of actuarial experience, preferably in life insurance, annuities or reinsurance valuation and financial reporting. Hands‑on experience running actuarial models and producing or supporting quarterly valuation results; Prophet experience is preferred. Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP actuarial reporting and/or Bermuda EBS and solvency reporting is preferred. Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large datasets; experience with SQL, Python or reporting automation tools is an advantage. Demonstrated ability to reconcile data and model outputs, investigate variances, document conclusions and follow established controls. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables under quarter‑end deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with actuarial, Finance, Accounting, Risk, technology and external partners. #J-18808-Ljbffr Chariot Reinsurance, Ltd.
